Bio Statement:

Jerzy Molas, PhD, Slavist and Croatist affiliated with the Institute of Western and Southern Slavic Studies at the University of Warsaw. His research interests focus on South Slavic linguistics, particularly the Croatian language, language policy, language standardisation processes, and language ideologies in the countries of the former Yugoslavia. He is the author of numerous publications on these topics, including the articles Historia języka a tradycja językowa (na przykładzie polskim i chorwackim) (Language history and linguistic tradition (the Polish and Croatian case)) (2012) and Vijeće za normu hrvatskoga standardnog jezika (2005–2012) – historia nieudanej instytucjonalizacji języka chorwackiego (Vijeće za normu hrvatskoga standardnog jezika (2005–2012): The history of a failed institutionalisation of the Croatian language) (2024).
