Author and co-author of monographs, research papers, chapters in joint publications, and popular science pieces on the culture of the Balkans. |

Biogram: PhD, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Western and Southern Slavic Studies, University of Warsaw, writer. In collaboration with the Theatre Institute in Warsaw, she conducts research on the history and anthropology of circus performances in East-Central Europe. Author of articles and journalist pieces on the Turkish minority in Bulgaria, published i.a. in "Balkanistic Forum", "Zeszyty Łużyckie", and as a separate collection Złote piachy (Wołowiec 2019). Collaborator of i.a. Dom Spotkań z Historią (The History Meeting House) in Warsaw in initiating programs spreading knowledge of countries of East-Central Europe and the Balkans. |

His scholarly interests include: word formation in Slavic languages, dialectology, Slavic etymologies, and areal linguistics. Co-creator of the Slavic Linguistic Atlas (OLA) as a member of the Polish national committee, author of maps and etymological studies conducted within the OLA as well as commentaries and explicative companion articles. Involved in the editing and publishing of "Zeszyty Łużyckie" since 1995 (in various roles). |
