liana Genew-Puhalewa, PhD (Habil) in Slavic and Modern Greek philology; born in Bulgaria, graduate of Sofia University. Associate professor at the Institute of Western and Southern Slavic Studies, Faculty of Polish Studies, University of Warsaw, Editor-in-Chief of the journal for minority studies Zeszyty Łużyckie. She specializes in contrastive and applied linguistics, terminology studies, ethnolinguistics, and axio-linguistics. Author and co-author of monographs, research papers, chapters in joint publications, and popular science pieces on the culture of the Balkans. Most important monograph: Съпоставка на българската, гръцката, полската и английската терминология на правото на околната среда. Katowice, 2015, 232 pp. (The terminology of the European Union: Comparative analysis of Bulgarian, Greek, Polish and English).

Ignacy M. Doliński, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Western and Southern Slavic Studies, University of Warsaw. His scholarly interests include: word formation in Slavic languages, dialectology, Slavic etymologies, and areal linguistics. Co-creator of the Slavic Linguistic Atlas (OLA) as a member of the Polish national committee, author of maps and etymological studies conducted within the OLA as well as commentaries and explicative companion articles. Involved in the editing and publishing of "Zeszyty Łużyckie" since 1995 (in various roles).
